Research-Use & Safety Framework

This page is the single reference for how our products are sold and how our content should be read. Every compound on this site is a research reference standard, and everything we publish is written in that context.

Research Use Only

All compounds on this site are reference standards intended for in-vitro laboratory research. They are not supplements or medications and are not approved for human or animal consumption, diagnostic, or therapeutic use.

Products are not for human or animal consumption, and are not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic use. By purchasing, the buyer confirms the materials are for laboratory research only.

What This Means for Our Content

  • Our articles describe mechanisms, pharmacokinetics, and research-community protocols in an educational, research context. They are not medical advice and are not a substitute for a qualified clinician.
  • Where we describe a protocol, dose range, or framework, we are reporting what is discussed in the research literature and research community - not recommending that any person follow it.
  • We label evidence honestly. Many frameworks we cover (for example Wilson's Temperature Syndrome and the T3-to-T2 conversion hypothesis) are mechanistically grounded but are not endorsed by mainstream endocrinology and have not been validated in controlled clinical trials. See our editorial methodology.

No Medical Claims

We make no claim that any compound sold here diagnoses, treats, cures, or prevents any disease, and nothing on this site should be read as such a claim. Statements about biological mechanism describe what is documented in the research literature about the molecule, not an outcome promised to any purchaser. Any third-party testimonial reflects that individual's own views and is not a statement by us about the products.

Responsible Handling

Reference standards should be handled by people equipped to work with research chemicals: stored as labeled, kept away from food preparation areas, and kept out of reach of children and pets. Researchers are responsible for following appropriate laboratory safety practices for the specific compounds they obtain.

Compliance & Buyer Responsibility

Regulations governing research chemicals differ by country and jurisdiction. Purchasers are responsible for understanding and complying with the laws that apply where they are, including any import requirements. If a compound is restricted in your jurisdiction, do not order it. For payment, shipping, and customs details, see our FAQ and shipping policy.
